Antes Páscoa fomos ao teatro (sim, custou £10!! e ficamos na plateia!!) ver uma peça do Tennessee Williams que nunca tinhamos visto em teatro. A peça estava muito bem encenada, excelente ambiente, os actores estavam muito bem (sobretudo a a Jessica Lange com a sua interpretação de uma southern belle), mas que depressão. Ainda tive esperança que tivesse um fim feliz ou mais reconfortante... mas não, claro que não... Nunca mais me apanham numa peça de TW, por muito bons que sejam os actores. E aquela aura em torno do Sul americano...Sinopse:
1930s St Louis: Tom Wingfield tells the story - as he remembers it - of the strained relationship between him, his aging mother Amanda and his extremely shy sister Laura. In the absence of their father, it is Tom who must support the family and Tom who is charged with finding a gentleman friend for his sister.
